1. Remove the following items:
   1. Refer to: Transmission Control Module (TCM) (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250, Removal and Installation).
      
   2. Refer to: Transmission Range (TR) Sensor (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250, Removal and Installation).
      
   3. Refer to: Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250, Removal and Installation).
      
   4. Refer to: Input Shaft Speed (ISS) Sensor (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250, Removal and Installation).
      
   5. Refer to: Clutch Actuator (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250) .
      

1. Install Special Service Tool : 307-673 Remover, Outer Input Shaft Seal

1. Special Tool(s) : 100-001 (T50T-100-A) Slide Hammer , 308-375 Remover, Input Shaft Seal

1. NOTE: Fastener quantity varies by application.

1. NOTE: Fastener quantity varies by application.

1. Special Tool(s) : 307-675 Fixture, Clutch Remover/Installer

1. Special Tool(s) : 307-675 Fixture, Clutch Remover/Installer
   Torque : 18 Nm

1. NOTE: When the transmission case is separated the input shaft bearing must be replaced.

1. Special Tool(s) : 307-680 Table, Assembly (DPS6)

1. Remove Special Service Tool : 307-580 Holding Fixture

1. Special Tool(s) : 307-680 Table, Assembly (DPS6)

1. Remove Special Service Tool : 307-680 Table, Assembly (DPS6)

1. Special Tool(s) : 307-680 Table, Assembly (DPS6)

1. Special Tool(s) : 307-680 Table, Assembly (DPS6)

1. Clean and inspect components for wear.
   

1. NOTE: If the clearance is more than the maximum stated in the specifications section, install a new fork.

   Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance between the fork and hub in various places around the circumference.
   

1. NOTE: Apply pressure on the synchronizer ring while taking the measurements.

   NOTE: If the clearance is less than the minimum measurement stated in the specifications section, install a new shaft assembly.

   Using a feeler gauge, measure the clearance between the synchronizer ring and gear in various places around the circumference.
