Throttle Body

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe (303-12A Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - 1.6L Duratec-16V Ti-VCT (88kW/120PS) - Sigma, Removal and Installation).
  1. Torque : 8 Nm

Installation

NOTICE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of corrosion and foreign material.

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. If the throttle body was replaced, turn the key ON without cranking the engine for 1 minute to allow the PCM to learn the adaptive table values for the new throttle body.
