Differential

DISASSEMBLY

NOTICE: Use vise jaws protectors.

  1. Clamp the differential in a vise.
  1. Special Tool(s) : 205-295 Remover, Bearing (Main Tool) , 205-071-01 Adapter for 205-071 (Thrust Pad) , 308-197 Collet for 205-295
  1. Special Tool(s) : 205-295 Remover, Bearing (Main Tool) , 205-071-01 Adapter for 205-071 (Thrust Pad) , 308-197 Collet for 205-295
  1. Remove the following items:
    1. Loosen : Four turn(s)
    3. Save three bolts for reassembly the ring gear.

ASSEMBLY

NOTICE: Use vise jaws protectors.

  1. Clamp the differential in a vise.
  1. Install the three bolts saved during disassembly.
    Torque : 105 Nm

  1. NOTICE: Make sure that new bolts are installed.

    Torque : 105 Nm

    1. NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed.

    1. NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed.

    1. Special Tool(s) : 205-062 Installer, Differential Bearing

    1. NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed.

    1. Special Tool(s) : 205-062 Installer, Differential Bearing
