Input Shaft Seal

Removal

  1. Refer to: Transmission (308-03B Manual Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed Manual Transmission - B6, Removal).

  1. NOTICE: Take extra care not to damage the bearing.

    General Equipment : Center Punch
    1. 2.5 x 15 mm self-tapping screw

Installation

    1. NOTICE: Use adhesive tape to cover the input shaft splines to prevent damage to the input shaft seal.

      General Equipment : Adhesive Tape

    1. NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed.

    1. Special Tool(s) : 308-847 Installer, Inputshaft Seal
  1. Torque : 10 Nm
