Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM)

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: If the FCIM did not respond to the diagnostic scan tool, As-Built Data may need to be entered as part of the repair.

  1. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    NOTE: The PMI process must begin with the current FCIM installed. If the current FCIM does not respond to the diagnostic scan tool, the tool may prompt for As-Built Data as part of the repair

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the FCIM following the on-screen instructions.
  1. Refer to: Instrument Panel Center Upper Trim Panel (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
  1. Torque : 2.6 Nm
  1. Torque : 1.3 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  1. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the FCIM following the on-screen instructions.
