Ignition Coil

Removal

NOTICE: The spark plug wires must be connected correctly, note there location for proper installation. Failure to follow this instruction may result in poor engine performance.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

    1. NOTE: Disconnect the spark plug wires from the ignition coil by slightly twisting while pulling upwards.

    1. Torque : 6 Nm

Installation

  1. NOTE: Wipe the ignition coil assemblies coil towers with a clean cloth dampened with soap and water. Remove any soap film and dry with compressed air. Inspect for cracks, carbon tracking and dirt. Replace damaged ignition coil assemblies.

    Material : Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound / XG-3-A (ESE-M1C171-A)
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
