Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)

Removal

  1. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).
  1. Material : Penetrating and Lock Lubricant / XL-1

Installation

NOTE: The correct torque wrench setting must be calculated when using a commercially available exhaust gas sensor socket to install the HO2S . Refer to the Torque Wrench Adapter Formulas in the Appendix.

  1. Material : High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant / XL-2
    Torque : 48 Nm
