Transmission

WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

  1. Install Special Service Tool : 307-003 (T57L-500-B) Holding Fixture, Transmission

  1. NOTICE: Take extra care not to damage the mating faces.

    General Equipment : Scraper for Straight Edges

  1. NOTE: Note the position of each component before removal.

    General Equipment : Punch

  1. NOTE: Note the position of each component before removal.

  1. Special Tool(s) : 308-082 Remover, Input Shaft Fifth Gear , 205-D012 (D80L-630-1) Step Plate
  1. General Equipment : Punch

  1. Remove the bearing race.
    Special Tool(s) : 205-062 Installer, Differential Bearing
  1. Special Tool(s) : 100-001 (T50T-100-A) Slide Hammer , 307-318 Remover, Stator Bearing
  1. General Equipment : Flat Headed Screw Driver
    General Equipment : Long Nose Pliers
  1. Use a commerically available 1-1/2" - 1-3/4" collet.
    Special Tool(s) : 100-001 (T50T-100-A) Slide Hammer
