Here is the rear of the Euro Switch. There is a tab marked TFL (You can see it here, it's the third from the right in the upper row), this is the one which regulates the Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). If you want to disable the DRLs you can do that by either bending the pin over, cutting it off or, as I did, putting a piece of tape over it. I used regular electrical tape and made sure I covered the entire tab. |

Here I'm removing the original switch. To remove just put the switch in the "off" position, push in (it's spring-loaded) and twist. This will turn the entire cylinder. Twist about a half inch and then pull the whole assembly out. It should slide easily. |

Once you pull the cylinder out, you will have this. The harness simply disconnects by pushing in on the tabs on each side and pulling the harnesses apart. |

Next, snap the new Euro Switch harness on. It should be pretty easy. If you are taping off the TFL tab, you may need to apply some pressure to get the harness together because you now have some tape to force in. Next, put the whole assembly back into the dash and insert it the reverse way you took the original out. It's just that simple. Here is a pic of the finished look. |
