Rear Door Alignment

1. Check body to rear door dimensions.
   Refer to: Body and Frame (501-26 Body Repairs - Vehicle Specific Information and Tolerance Checks, Description and Operation).
   

NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

NOTE: 5-door shown, 4-door similar.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

All alignments

Rear door in and out, up and down alignment

1. Loosen : 2 turn(s)

1. Adjust door to specification.
   Refer to: Body and Frame (501-26 Body Repairs - Vehicle Specific Information and Tolerance Checks, Description and Operation).
   

1. Torque : 24 Nm

Rear door fore, aft and tilt alignment

1. Remove the safety belt retractor and pretensioner.
   Refer to: Safety Belt Retractor and Pretensioner (501-20A Safety Belt System, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Loosen : 2 turn(s)

1. Loosen : 2 turn(s)

1. Adjust door to specification.
   Refer to: Body and Frame (501-26 Body Repairs - Vehicle Specific Information and Tolerance Checks, Description and Operation).
   

1. Torque :
   1   25 Nm
   2   12 Nm

1. Torque : 25 Nm

1. Install the safety belt retractor and pretensioner.
   Refer to: Safety Belt Retractor and Pretensioner (501-20A Safety Belt System, Removal and Installation).
   

All alignments

1. Torque : 25 Nm

1. Check body to rear door dimensions.
