Input Shaft Seal

Removal

  1. Refer to: Clutch and Damper Unit (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250, Removal and Installation).
  1. Special Tool(s) : 307-673 Remover, Outer Input Shaft Seal
  1. Refer to: Clutch Actuator (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250) .

  1. NOTICE: Take extra care not to damage the bearing.

    General Equipment : Punch
    1. 2,5 x 15 mm self-tapping screw
      General Equipment : Flat Headed Screw Driver
    1. General Equipment : Locking Pliers

Installation

  1. NOTICE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of corrosion and foreign material.

    NOTE: Use a new seal.

    Special Tool(s) : 307-672 Installer, Input Guide and Seal

  1. NOTE: Make sure that the fastener heads are not protruding above the housing surface.

    Torque : 8 Nm
  1. Refer to: Clutch Actuator (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250) .

  1. NOTE: Use a new seal.

    Special Tool(s) : 307-674 Installer, Outer Input Seal
  1. Refer to: Clutch and Damper Unit (307-01 Automatic Transmission - Vehicles With: 6-Speed PowerShift Transmission - DPS6/6DCT250, Removal and Installation).
