03/20/2004 - 03/21/2004 Delmarva road trip

Kris & I took a trip down the Delmarva and stayed in Lewes, DE. We toured all over the area, driving to some of the local small towns. The Delmarva RR history is one that I am very interested in, as I had hoped to once model it in my apartment. Here's some of the stuff we saw along the way.

	Wyoming, DE - facing South There is a yard here, belonging to Norfolk Southern RR.
	Yard switch Not a whole lot going on here today.
	An old PRR style whistle post still stands in Wyoming Cast iron.

	Freight shed It appears to be somewhat original.
	North NS mainline.
	Clayton, DE Another ex PRR station on the NS Delmarva line. Here is some history: LINK LINK2
	North There is a yard here. Also, many remnants of industry which is long gone. In the woods in the distance there is some sort of trestle that leads up to the track. A coaling trestle perhaps?
	Clayton Sta. This view is right down the fence separating the station from the tracks.
	The back side. Thankfully this station has been somewhat preserved and now houses some sort of business.
