Backside
Baggage room.
Inside bay
Where dispacher would sit to watch for trains.
Bay view
Many years ago there was a hotel across the tracks and stream, off in the woods beyond.
Waiting room
The restoration of the station is really fantastic. Everything is in gorgeous condition.
Bell interior
This shot is of the interior of the "bell" mounted on the roof. The photo is dark - it's thru a little window that the restorers put in so you could see inside - very hard to get a good shot w/o a tripod. Neat construction.

Upper room
The upper rooms were used as layover dwellings for railroad employees.

Another shot of window and door
W/ flash.
Main room
Beautiful stained glass windows all over the place.
Main room
Again.
Waiting room
A better shot.
Info about B&O Hotel
The buildings were located across the tracks and a stream from the station and are long gone.
View out dispacher's window, to the South.
Mainline.
A copy of an etching of the B&O Hotel
This is what the hotel used to look like, approximately.
Facing North, a farther away view of the station.
Mainline in foreground.
CRR 1071 Caboose at Cumberland, MD
@ the Western Maryland Scenic RR (ex Western Maryland RY).
CSXT 124083 Box Car, with damage
This is what happens when the load shifts abruptly during shipment. Looking a little bloated, eh?
Three Rivers Railroad 1987 Caboose
"Built 4/56". I believe that this is the same caboose that I photographed on 4/24/99 in Tunnelton, WV, then lettered SWMX 4876.
TREX 1987 Caboose
From the other end.
