The Georgetown Branch: Gallery: Drop ceiling, episode 2. 03/14/2004 - Bruce came over again to help me put up more ceiling. We did almost all of the outer edge bracket and connected the electrical circuit for the wall & ceiling outlets. Next up I have to do some finishing work in the room (drywall, painting, trim), hang more brackets here and there, remove the old lights & wire (trash) and connect the "DCC" circuit to the main box. It's coming together. |

03_14_2004-bsmt_work01.jpg Here's Bruce & I. He's fitting some of the L-bracket above the electrical box. The ceiling tile will be cut to go around the wires going into the box and sit on the L-bracket. We were lucky in that the top of the box mount was the right height for the ceiling. |

03_14_2004-bsmt_work02.jpg Here we are fitting some more of the L-bracket in place and spot-checking the height from the floor. The use of a laser-level sped up this process. |

03_14_2004-bsmt_work03.jpg The overall room after our work session. The L-bracket is in place all the way around the room except for the section above my head. Note that the little clamp-on light is lit, and it's plugged into the wall! The wall outlet is live and working great! :) |

03_14_2004-bsmt_work05.jpg A closeup of the L-bracket going around a corner. To the right is the section we did not finish due to the fact that I have to do a little trim work. |
