The Georgetown Branch: Gallery: Electrical Work

I spent Saturday & Sunday working on roughing in the electrical system for the layout room. I spent a few hours sketching and consulting with my Dad on some final details and then the work began. Once you start, its hard to slow down - and it's lots of fun. My plan is to have three separate circuits on two different breakers. One 20 Amp breaker will handle the lights and electrical outlets. One 15 Amp breaker will supply power to the DCC system alone. I installed several gang boxes and ran cable completing the circuit for the lights on the ceiling (4 outlets and one switch) and began to install the lines for the outlets along the walls. It's great to finally have some hands-on work underway. More to come...

The end of the room I recently "acquired" from my Wife. This is where Georgetown Jct. & Georgetown proper will be located.
