1/11/2006 - Finally got going on the benchwork! Put up some L brackets for upper level and also got some work done on the Helix base.
Pics Upper level brackets in place with lumber cut to size for benchwork.
Pics The brackets are Stanley 8" steel.
Pics 3/8" plywood Helix base ready to be cut.
Pics Here it is in place. The center hole is 28"D, base is 42" across.
Pics Screwed to the frame. Helix panels will be fastened to the base with threaded rod, nuts and washers, which is the next step.
